Final Fantasy VII Remake Release Date Finally

Return to Midgar in 2020 in Final Fantasy VII Remake

In Los Angeles (June 10, 2019) – Square Enix brought Final Fantasy VII Remake to the front of their E3 2019 Live Event showcasing some in depth gameplay as well as the special editions. This is ahead the hands-on debut for consumers this week at E3.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a re-imagining of the iconic game from the Final Fantasy Series that follows Cloud, and the other members of Avalanche on their mission to save the planet. The remake has been in works for the past several years causing many to think it had been abandoned. However, this year we got the release date as well as several other tidbits of information.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be coming to the PS4 beginning March 3, 2020. This will include voice-overs in English, Japanese, French, and German. As well as subtitles in English, French, LatAm Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German and Spanish. Final Fantasy VII Remake is not rated at this time www.esrb.org for more information.

There will be several different editions of the game. Including a Deluxe Edition and “1st Class Edition” for the more the ultimate collection. First the Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order now, and contains a hardback art book, mini-soundtrack CD, summon materia DLC. Allowing players to summon Catuar in game, and a Sephiroth SteelBook Case. Secondly, the Digital Deluxe Edition contains a digital art book, a digital Mini-Soundtrack, and Summon Materia DLC. Which allows players to summon Carbuncle and Cactuar in game.

Finally the “1st Class Edition” includes all Deluxe Edition content, the Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC, as well as a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona box set (bundled separately), which is available to pre-order in limited quantities from the SQUARE ENIX Store.

Final Thoughts

Here are my final thoughts, the game itself looks amazing and i will buy it. However, I am not so sure about the different versions and if they are worth it. For now it’s a wait and see.
