Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Delayed

Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion Walker has been delayed to December 7th, 2021. From the statement from the from the director Naoki Yoshida it seems he wants to polish off the Expansion some more before launching. This so far seems to be met with quite of bit of cheers from players.

For those that do not know, Naoki Yoshida took over at the end of the 1.0 of Final Fantasy XIV. What he did was a gamble and burned down the original game and came back with the success of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn the 2.0 of the game. The reason it was such a gamble is it was a whole 8 months (give or take) between the closing of the original servers and the launch of the new game.

Over the course of 8 years they have built player trust and proven the game through and through. With that the developers don’t seem to be making any knee jerk reactions or patchwork fixes. If they see an issue they seem to research it and then release a patch to address the issue as a whole. This is a stark contrast from Blizzard Entertainment and their treatment of player with World of Warcraft.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker is a month a way, so get in there and finish up leveling and those MSQs. There is no rush you can play at your own pace, but it does give you the extra little time you may have needed!
